Tom Robinson A native of Winona is a singer/songwriter, mostly in blues and folk idioms. Robinson was the winner of the 1999 Minnesota Folk Festival songwriting contest. He also performs Brazilian music, including Bossa Nova, MPB and Pagode, some of which is sung in Portuguese and some of which he has translated into English. |

Megan Nelson and Nate Gill Are young faces on the Winona music scene, but hardly new. You’ve likely seen one or the other perform all over town— as they share different bills with different bands in different venues constantly. Both too work and play at the Acoustic Café, so it’s fitting that they'll share a set at the Fair. |

Beet Root Stew Brings a grassy twang with a backyard feel to our fair. Sharing the Stage with bands such as Trampled By Turtles, Smokin Bandits, Cornmeal, and Victor Barnes Bluegrass insurgents, Beet Root Stew hopes to follow in the footsteps of some of their favorite bands and become a staple of Jamgrass music around the area. |

Trevor Marty’s Eclectic style—a blend of folk, jazz, bluegrass, and acoustic Rock-a-Billy provides a large pallet of techniques to create from. A member of both the Tuna Zen Trio and Mot Mot bands, Marty’s music has been called “a perfect soundtrack to Midwestern day” by Fair veteran Jack Norton. |
