WCHS Presents the 7th Annual:

Chocolate, Shakespeare and Champagne Event

Chocolate, Shakespeare & Champagne will be held Saturday, June 12, from 7-9 p.m. at the beautiful Alexander Mansion Bed & Breakfast located at 274 East Broadway. The Great River Shakespeare Festival will present scenes from this year's plays.

Decadent desserts and champagne will be served at what has become the kick-off to the Shakespeare Festival and the summer social and arts season. This event is a wonderful way to get to know the actors and crew of the Festival, get a sneak peek at scenes from this season's plays, catch-up with old friends, and spend time in stunning surroundings.

The popular raffle for a gift basket, featuring dinner with GRSF actors, champagne, a stay at the Alexander Mansion B & B, and many other great gifts will be back. Tickets will be available for $5 each during the event.

Tickets are $20 for Historical Society members or $25 for the general public and will be available starting the last week of May. They will be available at the Historical Society, which is located at 160 Johnson Street. For more information call 454-2723, ext. 3.
