WCHS Presents the 6th Annual:

Chocolate, Shakespeare and Champagne Event

Chocolate, Shakespeare & Champagne will be held Saturday, June 13, from 7-9 p.m. at the beautiful Alexander Mansion Bed & Breakfast located at 274 East Broadway. The Great River Shakespeare Festival will present scenes from Live's Labours Lost and The Tempest..

Decadent desserts and champagne will be served at what has become the kick-off to the Shakespeare Festival and the summer social and arts season. This event is a wonderful way to get to know the actors and crew of the Festival, get a sneak peek at scenes from the plays this season, catch-up with old friends, and spend time in stunning surroundings.

Jodi Brom will be putting together a gift basket again this year, to be sold at auction during the event.

Tickets are $20 for Historical Society members or $25 for the general public. They will be available at the Historical Society, which is located at 160 Johnson Street. For more information call 454-2723, ext. 3.
