We are all experiencing a historic time as we navigate the effects of the COVID-19 health crisis. Local history is your history and we hope you can share your story for future generations through the Winona County Historical Society (WCHS). While we can’t preserve everything, we are interested in collecting stories, observations, images, sound or video files of COVID-19 effects on Winona County. In the future, we hope to collect objects, diaries, and other documentation too.

Selections of submitted material through this form, or by email or mail, will be shared publicly though the WCHS website and social media accounts. A staff curated representative sampling of submitted materials will be housed in the WCHS Laird Lucas Library and Archives for future study.
Share Your Story
Many thanks to WCHS member, volunteer and photographer, Mary Farrell, as she helps us actively collect images, artifacts and stories of COVID-19 and its effects on the people of Winona County.
